  1. "I take a practical approach to therapy.  This involves conducting a thorough assessment, clearly identifying problem areas & setting goals for treatment that provide a structure & guide for ongoing contact.  In addition I aim to provide clients with an awareness & understanding of the origins of their problems in combination with the acquisition of practical coping tools to create positive, desired & enduring change in the present & for the future.  For me, therapy is akin to education, where the focus is on learning about yourself."
